Change Job.
Well, everybody will change job sooner or later (am I too much by saying this?). Sometimes, it happens by choice. Sometimes, you don't have an option. Some other times, you never plan to change your current job, well, maybe you'd think about it, or dream about it, but no resume involved, just hoping someday your lady luck will come your way, and in return, may turn your daily routine to something else which is more relax, more profitable and more stable.
In either case, it's important to be prepared to change jobs - because you never know when it might happen to you. But, what kind of preparation? Mentally? Physically? Financially? What? For me, the best preparation is to set your mind to accept whatever consequences for your action with redha and tawakkal, in case the move that you made is not as good as you aspect. You may aspect yourself to be as good as yourself in the current company, with the current task, the current mate, etc. You are confident that you can always perform up to the standard, you can always hit whatever target set by the next company, but at the end of the day, you will never know what will happen next.
In my case, it happened by choice. I can say that, I'm in a comfort zone in my current company. But some might say "no pain no gain". The pain part is for me to travel everyday back and forth to Kelana Jaya from Tmn Sri Rampai, to face the traffic jams, to face the extra money that I've to spend for fuel and tolls, to wake up earlier than now, to go back later than now, etc. The gain part is, well, let me keep it myself, but I can assure you it was the offer than I can't resist.
To sum it up, what I can say is, I chose to face whatever pains in hoping that I may gain something for the sake of myself, my wife, my future kids and my family as a whole. And hopefully I'm strong enough to face the consequences. May the force be with me!
